Near Sisteron, in the heart of the village of Chateaufort, many hiking trails nearby. Fishing 5 km. Valernes 7 km: bar-restaurant, tennis court. Vaumeilh 10 km: gliding site. Sisteron 14 km: all shops, services and leisure activities, lake, entertainment, visit to the citadel. La Motte-du-Caire 9 km: via ferrata.
Unusual accommodation in a tastefully renovated former pigeon house. Ideal for a romantic getaway. Private, pretty garden where the sound of the fountain will add a gentle touch to your stay. Holiday cottage on 4 levels with access to the upper floors via steep, narrow staircases. First floor: fully-equipped kitchen with oven and microwave/living room. 1st floor: lounge area. Shower room/wc. 2nd floor: attic bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm). 3rd floor: mezzanine with relaxation area and bay window offering a magnificent view of the valley. Bed linen and towels provided. Possibility of renting sheets. Cleaning included. Electric heating with storage tank. All charges included.

C'est un véritable petit paradis.
Un endroit atypique dans un petit village de 25 habitants. Pas de circulation, pas de vis à vis. Vous pouvez être nu sans problème.

Irs Urlaub in der Idylle
Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche im Taubenturm. Der Empfang war herzlich und wir bekamen tolle Tips für Ausflüge in die Umgebung.
Der Turm ist gut ausgestattet und dass die vielen Etagen nicht nur komfortabel sind, weiß man ja vorher ;-))
Mit den Rädern konnten wir in alle Richtungen tolle Touren machen und danach im Garten entspannen.
Einkaufen kann man im Einkaufszentrum Val Durance, 12km entfernt. Der Ort Chateaufort bietet da nichts. Dafür ist es wunderbar ruhig und wir hatten Spaß mit unserer Vogelstimmen-App.

A&A Round and lovely
Lovely quiet place. Good space for parking the car and trailer. Wifi is a plus, and with cold weather the heating is very well. Nevertheless good weather is important for this really small house. If so, it's a little paradise.
