Numerous local walks, ideal for mushroom-picking in autumn. Castellane 9 km: classified Village et Cité de Caractère, all shops. At the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon: rock climbing, whitewater sports, hiking on the Martel trail, Point Sublime, Grand Canyon. Lac de Chaudanne 11 km: swimming, fishing. Circuit to Gorges de Taulanne, Moustiers Sainte Marie, Lac de Sainte-Croix.
In a small Mountain hamlet in the Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon with beautiful views over the valley, accessed via a small winding road 9 km long. Completely independent, renovated farmhouse (adjoining a barn) on large, shared, unfenced plot. Holiday cottage on 2 levels. First floor: dining room and relaxation area with wood-burning stove in alcove. Kitchen. Shower room/wc. 1st floor: 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1 (1 bed 140). Bedroom 2 (2 beds 120). Bedroom 3 (4 beds 90 including 4 bunk beds not suitable for Kids under 6). Shower room. Separate toilet. Bed linen provided, beds made on arrival. Towels available for hire. End-of-stay cleaning on request. Electric heating. Utilities extra.

Bernard et Yvette provençaux de souche se sont installés à Robion en 2003. Yvette a grandi dans la maison des Artaud jusqu'en 1979. Pour faire revivre la maison avec l'aide de son mari, ils l'ont restauré et ont décidé d'y accueillir des vacanciers de tous horizons, heureux de faire découvrir cette région chère à leurs coeurs.

We had a very good holiday and loved the house and the beautiful view.
The house is very well equipped and has a lot of room and Bernard and Christine were always very helpful.It is a bit hard to reach from Castellane (narrow road), but I guess it helps keeping Le Petit Robion nice and quiet ;-)
The walk to the Little Chapel is a must, spectacular view from there !
All in all, I would definitely recommend the gite.
