Stay in the house where astronomer Charles-Louis LARGETEAU lived, and sharpen your knowledge at the Manoir des Sciences de Réaumur (11 km) and the Planetarium de la Chapelle Aux Lys (18 km). Wilfrid, a passionate owner, will help you discover the local history and heritage, which you can further explore by visiting the Petites Cités de Caractère® of Vouvant (10 km) and Pouzauges (18 km), and the famous Puy du Fou (36 km).

Situated in the Countryside, this house offers, on the first floor (access via a large ramp and two steps), an entrance hall, a living room with pellet stove, a living room/kitchen with wood-burning stove, a separate toilet and a laundry room. Upstairs you'll find a bedroom with two 90cm beds, a bedroom with a 160cm bed, a dressing room, a shower room and a separate toilet. Weather permitting, you can observe the sky with the telescope provided. You'll enjoy a vast, wooded, unfenced plot of land, approved as an LPO refuge, where you'll find several terraces, table and chairs, picnic tables, gas and charcoal barbecues and deckchairs. There's also a barn where you can store your bikes and recharge your electric bikes. You can park your car in a dedicated grassed area.

The accommodation is adjoining the owner's home, and close to poultry farms.
