Le Moulin de L'Ardouinière

Enjoy an Unusual experience during a stay in this former mill dating from 1890, and plunge into the heart of Vendée history at the Historial de la Vendée (7 km), the logis de la Chabotterie (12 km), the chpateaus of Les Essarts (24 km) and Tiffauges (42 km), not forgetting the famous Puy du Fou (41 km). And for an outdoor excursion, head for the beaches of Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie (46 km).

On the first floor, you'll find a veranda forming the living room/kitchen, a shower room, a separate toilet (sanibroyeur), and a second living area equipped with a sofa bed 130 on the first floor of the mill. On the second floor, you'll find a bedroom with 2 twin beds (90cm) giving access to a balcony under the veranda. From this room, you can also access the bedroom on the second floor, equipped with two 90cm beds. You'll enjoy an enclosed garden with terraces (garden furniture, barbecue), petanque area, outdoor games, bicycle shed and parking for 2 cars. No TV, no wifi, but plenty of games for more convivial moments.

The architecture of the mill has a few special features: the staircases are narrow and winding, and lead directly into the bedrooms, which are not closed by doors. The mill is not connected to the electricity grid, but a high-capacity battery is used to power essential appliances. Water is heated by gas.
