Abbaye de Trizay

If you're a heritage lover, this Holiday cottage is for you! You'll be staying in the former dwelling of Trizay Abbey, built in the 12th century, 11 km from William Christie's Gardens and 33 km from the Vendée beaches. You'll be able to discover other unusual sites such as Grammont Priory (25 km), Maillezais Abbey (46km), explore the Marais Poitevin (53 km) or visit the Puy du Fou (60 km).

On the first floor (accessed via 2 steps), the accommodation comprises a living room/lounge/equipped kitchen, a laundry room (washing machine, tumble dryer) and a separate WC.
Upstairs, you'll find 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (140cm) and private shower room/WC, and a large family room (1 double bed (160cm) + 2 twin beds (90cm) + 1 sofa bed (140cm)) with private shower room and separate WC.
The Holiday cottage has a private courtyard (south-facing) where you can relax in complete privacy. Furnished with garden furniture, Chilean chairs and a barbecue, it's the perfect place to enjoy a good book or an aperitif with friends. Admire the surrounding greenery and let the tranquility envelop you.
You'll also enjoy the cloister and the 3-hectare grounds on the banks of the Lay, a space shared with visitors to the Abbey (guided tours offered during the summer, only of the exteriors and the abbey part).
You'll have access to the former abbey church and chapter house.

The first floor is adjoined by a 60m² seminar room.
