Ideally located just 3 km from the A28, Ô fil de l’eau is a prime starting point for exploring the treasures of northern Sarthe and the gateway to the Orne. Nature lovers will appreciate the greenway connecting Chérancé to Mamers (17 km), the village pond, the unspoiled landscapes of the Alpes Mancelles, the trails of Saint-Léonard-des-Bois, the forest of Sillé-le-Guillaume, and the vast forests of the Perche region. Heritage enthusiasts can stroll through the narrow streets of Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, a “Petite Cité de Caractère,” explore Alençon, or visit Le Mans and its famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race track. Chérancé also boasts a rich history, chronicled notably by Yves Gasnier in his books dedicated to the village. The painter Maurice Loutreuil lived here and is buried here today, a testament to artists’ attachment to this authentic region. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with a 140-bed and its own private bathroom, shower, sink, and toilet.
