Le Petit Atelier and Cow

Two-person gîte near Le Mans (15 minutes from town center) and A11 exit 9 (3 minutes away), located in the countryside on a dairy farm. A bright, cosy little cottage, decorated with mix-and-match pieces, including antique finds, studio skylights and homemade creations. A place where nothing is thrown away and everything is transformed. A place where you love cows, old tractors, nature and calm. Here you'll (re)discover the simple pleasures of everyday life. Situated in the Sarthe Valley, our location allows you to enjoy our beautiful city of Le Mans with its St Julien cathedral, the old town of Le Mans, the famous 24-hour race circuit and its museum. The Sarthe also boasts a gastronomic heritage with excellent restaurants, castles, an earthenware museum in Malicorne sur Sarthe, La Flèche zoo, Solesmes abbey, river cruises in Sablé sur Sarthe... And if doing nothing is the theme of your vacation, you'll find a terrace with deckchairs, a small private garden and a barbecue to accompany you throughout your stay. Two other gîtes, sleeping 7 and 5, can accommodate up to 14 people on the same site (see l'atelier & cow and l'atelier de curiosités in Louplande).

On the ground floor, the main room features a fully-equipped kitchen (except dishwasher), a sitting area with wood-burning stove, wc. Upstairs, bedroom with 160cm bed or two 2x80cm single beds, shower room and washing machine. Bed(s) made up on arrival. Towels not provided. Please request if necessary. Heating included. Private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue.
