L'Abbaye

Located in the hamlet of Etival, in a Natura 2000 zone and backing onto the La Grande Charnie Forest, our holiday cottage was completed in 2019. This very old house, once included in the perimeter of an abbey, comprises 2 levels for a living area of 120 m². Beds made on arrival: - On the ground floor: a large living room with kitchen, dining area and lounge and a bedroom (Twin beds 80) with private shower room, separate toilet. - Upstairs: a master bedroom (80cm twin beds, Kids' bed, private shower room), another bedroom with 4 90cm beds, 2 of which can be twinned. Between these 2 bedrooms, a large mezzanine has been converted into a leisure room (reading, gaming room, TV) with 2 extra beds. Separate shower room, separate toilet. The accesses and first floor are designed to accommodate people with reduced mobility. The south-facing facade opens onto a terrace in enclosed grounds planted with trees. We can accommodate riders and their mounts (meadow in front of the Holiday cottage), as well as cyclists (local, VAE recharging station). Enjoy the peace and quiet of a place steeped in history http://chemirepatrimoine.org/ , go for pleasant walks around the Holiday cottage or head off into the Forest for long Hiking trips (maps with walking and biking itineraries are available on request). Discover the beautiful villages of Sainte Suzanne, Brulon, Asnières sur Vègre and the prehistoric caves of Saulges. Visit Le Vieux Mans, the circuit and the 24-hour race museum. Spend a day in Sillé Le Guillaume for relaxation or sport. Facilities: washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, toaster... Reinforced socket for electric car recharging Internet: unlimited wifi access (fiber) . Outside: terrace with table and chairs, barbecue, games, table tennis. Rates include electricity and heating, except for electric car recharging. Optional: end-of-stay cleaning and towels.
