La Jouanne

Discover the charm of the countryside in this two-bedroom gîte with wood-burning stove and garden. It retains all the authenticity of this heritage with its stone, brick and wood features enhanced by careful decoration. Situated in a quiet location, with a soothing view over the fields and tranquil river, you may be lucky enough to come across a pretty herd of cows, a few chickens, as well as Biscotte (the pony), Boucle d'or (the sheep) and Gourmande (the goat). The gîte can accommodate up to 6 people, thanks to a sofa bed in the living room. Many activities are within walking distance: hiking, mountain biking, and fishing in the river La Jouanne, just behind the gîte. A private pond, full of fish, is just 5 km away (accessible by car). All shops and services nearby in Montsûrs, 3.5 km away. Nearby villages and sites to visit: Sainte-Suzanne (20 km), Jublains (18 km), Saulges (23 km), the Echologia site (20 km), the Château and Parc de la Perrine in Laval (21 km), Saint-Malo (1h30), Mont-Saint-Michel (1h40) and La Flèche zoo (1h20).

The gîte is on 2 floors with extensive grounds all around. LEVEL 0: living room 36m² with fitted kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, immersion blender, toaster, kettle, filter coffee machine, Italian-style coffee maker, fridge), sitting room with wood-burning stove - shower room 2.8m² with towel dryer and hairdryer - separate WC.
LEVEL 1: 2.8m² landing - bedroom (1) 13m² with 160x200cm bed, cupboard and storage space - bedroom (2) 13m² with 2 90x190cm beds, shelving and closet.
Wifi available throughout.
Games: inside: board games and library AND outdoor games for children.
Garage for small family gatherings: armchair, table, freezer and fridge, ping-pong table, shuffleboard, darts, pétanque, bikes available and even a children's bike seat.
Baby equipment on request: high chair, cot, bathtub, step stool, potty and toilet booster.
Charcoal barbecue.
