La Herrière

La Herrière is the ideal place to go fishing around the 3,000m² private pond, or simply to relax in a natural setting, listening to the birdsong of the farmyard. La Herrière is all this and much more. The first floor is spacious -61m²- and welcoming, offering living room with fireplace, kitchen and dining room. From the windows, you can look out over nature and the Fishing pond. Upstairs, the large 17m² bedroom offers 2 single beds (90x190) and 1 double bed (140x190), separated by a curtain. Terraces with garden furniture surround the Holiday cottage. In summer, you'll enjoy the shade of oak or birch trees. There are 2 fishing ponds, a small one for Kids (frogs and small fish) and a well-maintained 3000m² pond with large open spaces for casting. Fish: carp, tench, pike, perch and even eels! Fishing room with sink and fridge. Dogs are welcome and can take full advantage of the large wooded park to run around in peace and quiet. On site, a varied farmyard featuring Edouard, the turkey, geese, ducks, chickens... a real live show! Shop in Méral or Cossé-le-Vivien (Wednesday Market). Many local producers all around: honey, vegetables, meats, organic wood-fired bread, organic brewery (excellent beer!)... In Craon, you'll find a lovely aquatic area with indoor and outdoor pools, swimming lessons, toboggan, sauna and Hammam. Don't miss the Robert Tatin open-air museum, with its giant statues, the La Flèche Zoo, the City of Château-Gontier with its port (bike and boat rentals), shops and gardens, and the Refuge de l'Arche. Try your hand at wakeboarding at the Base de loisirs de la Rincerie. Méral borders the Ille et Vilaine region, so you can take time out to visit Vitré and Rennes. On the Anjou side, the City of Angers, with its castle, old town and restaurants, is also a must.

Your accommodations include, on the ground floor, a spacious 61 m² living room, kitchen, and dining area. - Kitchen: 4-burner gas stove, electric oven, coffee maker, kettle, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, and dishwasher. Bathroom with shower (70×70 cm stall with built-in seat), sink and storage, hair dryer, and washing machine. Separate toilet. In the living room: 1 sofa bed.
On the 1st floor: a 17 m² bedroom (with 1.8 m ceiling height) featuring 2 single beds (90 × 190) and 1 double bed (140 × 190), with a curtain to separate the two areas—separate toilet; an air conditioner keeps the room cool.
