This gîte is an old forge, renovated and converted into a single-storey house with 2 enclosed, landscaped gardens: rosebushes, camelia, hornbeam hedge.... The garage is ideal for storing your bikes or motorcycles. The gîte is ideal for singles or couples, and is located 200m from shops and numerous places to visit: Mayenne and its castle museum on the theme of medieval games (10 min), the Renaudies garden (20min) or the Perrine garden. Hiking trails allow you to discover the bocage and the Colmont valley, a natural area of great faunistic and floristic quality, a 1st category wild river, interesting for trout fishing. The gîte comprises a 32m² living room with a wood-burning stove and TV, a well-equipped kitchen, two bedrooms (9 and 10m²), each with 1 140*190 bed, and a storage cupboard. Bathroom with shower and separate toilet. Wifi access. Trout fishing on the Colmont river, 500m from the gîte. Leisure center with water sports and swimming at Ambrières les Vallées (7km). As for villages and monuments, don't miss Sainte-Suzanne, with its narrow shopping streets, château and museum, Lassay-les-Châteaux and the Gallo-Roman town of Jublains. Unusual outing: bike rail at Saint Loup du Gast. In Oisseau: bakery, restaurant, grocery store, pharmacy, doctor and post office.
