La Douce Escapade

Whether you're passing through the Laval area or planning a longer stay, this gîte offers quality accommodation in a simple space. The decor is warm and inspiring, and the facilities are complete: for cooking, laundry, working and welcoming a baby or young child. La Douce Escapade is a 2-storey gîte, with the living rooms on the first floor and the bedroom and shower room on the 1st. No garden or terrace, but a hiking trail from the gîte takes you to the banks of the Ernée river; the campsite's children's play area and the municipal pétanque court are 100m away. Ideal for 1 or 2 people, it is also possible to use the optional 140*200 sofa bed for an extra 15€/pers/night. In the center of Andouillé, 500m away, you have access to all shops and services: bakery, mini-market, restaurant, doctor, ATM... the urban bus and the town are 10 minutes from Laval by car. Laval en Mayenne is home to the Vélo Francette®, (Caen to La Rochelle cycle route), Espace Mayenne (a major event venue in Western France), the Halte fluviale (marina with boat and bike hire), the Musée d'Art naïf et des arts singuliers in the old château, an exceptional Saturday market... Situated in the center of the département, you can explore the Natura 2000 site of Saulges, the towns of Sainte Suzanne and Parné sur Roc, or the Mont des Avaloirs, an area of forests and hiking trails on the heights of the Armorican massif. The Holiday cottage is at the entrance to the village of Andouillé, population 2,300, 500 m from shops and services. First floor, 1.95m ceiling: living room 12.1m² with dining table and chair, sofa bed, TV - kitchen 8.3m² with dishwasher, fridge and freezer, 4-burner gas stove and electric oven, microwave, kettle, Senseo pod coffee maker, multi-function food processor, washing machine. 1st floor, standard-height ceiling: 13.7m² bedroom with 1 x 160*200 bed, wardrobe and desk - 5.6m² shower room with shower cubicle, washbasin, hairdryer, towel dryer, clotheshorse.
Baby equipment: Umbrella bed - potty - booster seat - high chair - shower seat - changing mat - toilet seat reducer. Please let us know in advance so that we can provide you with the equipment you need.
Included : beds made - bathroom linen - kitchen linen.
Option : cleaning 50€ (1 cleaning per stay from 1 to 14 nights) - electric heating > 8kWh to be paid to the owner on meter reading - extra person, 2 pers maximum : 15€/night/pers - pet 7€/pet/day
