The cascades of climbing roses, rhododendrons, azaleas, ferns, the river, the shade of the tall trees, and the exposed rock… all come together to form the setting of the Tanis Mill. The holiday cottage and terrace offer sweeping views of this entire landscaped area. Just like a watermill, the living room is on the first floor and the three bedrooms are on the second floor, accommodating up to 6 people. Pierre, the owner, will share with you his knowledge and love of gardens and Biodiversity! Local shops are in Oisseau, 4 km away. Other shops are in Mayenne, 10 km away. Must-see attractions within 20 km: Lassay-les-Châteaux (13 km), with its medieval castles and designation as a “Petite Cité de Caractère,” Fontaine Daniel (11 km), a 19th-century textile town; Jublain, a Gallo-Roman town with numerous ruins and artisan markets. A little further away: Sainte-Suzanne. All these sites are accessible via marked hiking trails. For families with kids, there are several nearby Base de loisirs: Colmont Park, Vaux Park, and La Haie Traversaine (summer). High-quality public Water Parks in Mayenne, Gorron, and Evron.

The holiday cottage is located on the owner’s property. The living quarters of the mill are on the 1st and 2nd floors.
