If you need to recharge your batteries and live in a unique environment, the gîte du Bois de La Landelle offers a unique setting and comfortable accommodation. Enter the property along a long path, cross the 8-hectare forest, and discover the gîte facing the pond, surrounded by a well-kept garden. It's the ideal setting for a family get-together, with fishing, ping-pong, shuffleboard, basketball and deckchairs to suit every taste! The gîte is very well equipped, with 3 bedrooms and 2 shower rooms, including 1 bedroom and 1 shower room on the ground floor, and 3 separate WCs. All games are in the garage, and can be set up outside. In the off-season, the verandas with their bay windows give you the feeling of being in the garden while still being sheltered. All shops 5 km away, in Château-Gontier sur Mayenne. Château-Gontier is the birthplace of the Villes et Villages Fleuries (Flowered Towns and Villages) appellation, and there's an itinerary that takes you on a tour of the town's gardens. Don't miss the Refuge de l'Arche, an animal park that takes in animals from every continent. Water sports: choose from water-skiing, canoeing and electric boats of all sizes. Also at the port: rental of muscle bikes or assisted bicycles (delivery available). The Mayenne river is a great place for walking, both on the water and on the towpath (the Vélo Francette, from Ouistréam to La Rochelle). The town also boasts a national theater: le Carré aux Ursulines. Other inspirations? The Musée Robert Tatin in Cossé le Vivien is a curiosity in Mayenne, an unexpected journey with monumental statues. Take a stroll through the small towns of Parné sur Roc, Sainte Suzanne... and discover the local producers who welcome you to their farms: cider, fruit, bread, meat, vegetables... With a motorcycle or bicycles: you can store them under cover. Professional stays: 3 people maximum - 1 household per stay from 1 to 14 nights.
