The small gîte de la Prée du Roc is ideal for a couple, with or without children. The house is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. Just 600 m from the Vélo Francette towpath (Ouistréam / la Rochelle), you can reach Château-Gontier (8.7km), the restaurant at Ecluse de Neuville (950m), or even Laval (25km). Local shops 4.7km away, and more in Château-Gontier, 8km. For your outings, Château-Gontier offers a walk through the town and its gardens, museums, aquatic center with wellness area, marina with boat rental, bicycles (electric and muscle bikes, trailers), kayak and paddle. Don't miss the Refuge de l'arche, a wildlife park specializing in exotic wild animals damaged by life (abandoned or injured): discover a thousand stories. Discover the Petites cités de caractères de la Mayenne: Parné sur Roc, Saulges, Sainte Suzanne, Chailland... Mayenne also boasts museums with modern scenography: the Lactopôle, the world's largest dairy museum, in Laval (25km), the Robert Tatin Museum, in Cossé le Vivien (17km), the Prehistory Museum in Saulges, or the Archaeological Museum in Jublains.
