Upon entering the holiday cottage, the central room features a large dining area, a living room with a TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. From this room, you can step out onto a small south-facing patio with a small garden set. On the other side, a terrace with garden furniture, a barbecue, and carports will let you enjoy long summer evenings at the foot of the tuffeau rock. Your private outdoor area is enclosed by a gate. This vacation rental also features a large bedroom with a 140-cm bed and a baby bed, a small bedroom with two 90-cm beds, a bathroom with a shower and vanity, and a separate toilet. The owner’s home is located next door, with no direct view from neighboring properties. The holiday cottage faces due south, making it perfectly comfortable year-round. All rooms have windows and/or doors opening to the outside. You’ll appreciate how cool the property stays, especially in the summer. During colder months, the central heating in every room and the open fireplace will provide a cozy atmosphere. You’ll be located 2.5 km from the Thouet River and the Vélofrancette bike route for cycling enthusiasts. There are plenty of nearby attractions: just 10 minutes away, Montreuil-Bellay and its 12th- and 15th-century castle; 15 minutes away, Doué-la-Fontaine and the Bioparc; 23 minutes away, Saumur with its sparkling wine cellars, the Cadre Noir, the castle, and the Loire River... Not to mention the many wineries, vineyards, and picturesque villages of the Douessine region. Both holiday cottages can be rented together at the same address to accommodate 8 people.
