Need to recharge your batteries with friends or family? The Gîte Saint-Georges is the place for you! Ideally located in Saint Georges sur Layon, your stay will allow you to unwind to the rhythm of birdsong. Just 7 minutes from Doué-en-Anjou and its famous Bioparc, your stay will be the perfect opportunity to discover the area's special features: troglodyte villages, charming villages, the banks of the Loire, rose production, and the many wine appellations (Layon, Saumur, Cabernet...). The gîte comprises : - First floor: living room with wood-burning stove, lounge and Gllum is cool dining room, fully-equipped independent kitchen, laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer, WC and washbasin. - Upstairs: one bedroom with a 140cm X 190cm bed and a 90cm X 190cm bed in an alcove (possibility of installing a safety barrier at the edge of the bed for children), a second bedroom with a 120cm X 190cm bed and a 100cm X 190cm bed, a shower room with shower and WC. From the kitchen and living room, you can access a lovely outdoor space with terrace, part of which is covered by a canopy, ideal for balmy summer evenings. The 500m² garden with swing is enclosed, allowing young children and pets to roam in peace and quiet. A pond with goldfish, ducks and carp will delight young and old alike. They are fed every morning by the owner. Inside the property, parking for 2-3 vehicles is available, including two under a car port. No charging station for electric vehicles. 4 charging stations in Doué en Anjou - the nearest, in the town center, Place du Champ de Foire. Included in the rental price: electricity, heating (electric) and a basket of wood logs. Rental of bed linen, towels and cleaning charges are optional. You can easily visit the major towns of Anjou: Saumur (its castle, the banks of the Loire and the armored car museum) 30 minutes away, Angers (its Ducs d'Anjou castle, Saint-Maurice cathedral and the banks of the Maine) 40 minutes away and Cholet 50 minutes. Numerous activities are available nearby, including the Doué-en-Anjou zoo 7 minutes away, the Louresse-Rochemenier troglodyte village museum 10 minutes away, the Saumur forest adventure park 20 minutes away, and lovely walks and bike rides along the Loire.
