A l'orée du bois

Located in the Baugeois region, 30 minutes from Saumur and 40 minutes from Angers, the gîte "A l'orée du bois" welcomes you for stays with family or friends. During your stay in the countryside, you'll be able to recharge your batteries in the state-owned Chandelais forest, with its many walks and bike rides (maps are available at the gîte). You can also go mushroom-picking, season permitting. The main shops are located 6 km from the accommodation, in Baugé-en-Anjou. In the same town, you can go to the opera in July and August, or play golf. In June and July, the Château de Baugé hosts the Festival d'Anjou. You can also take advantage of your stay to visit La Flèche zoo, 20 minutes away. Saumur and its famous "cadre noir" are only 30 minutes away, and you can also take advantage of this getaway to discover the many vineyards that open their doors to you for tastings. The Loire, its castles and the "Loire à vélo" cycling route are also just 30 minutes away. For cultural outings, Angers, its historical center, château and Terra Botanica plant park are 40 minutes away. Located in a brand-new house, this gîte is entirely on one level and accessible to people with reduced mobility. It features a large living room with a fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. The lounge area offers a breathtaking view of the Bauge countryside. The hallway leads to four bedrooms: the first three each have a 140cm x 190cm double bed, and the fourth has two 90cm x 190cm single beds. A sofa-bed in the living room can accommodate two extra people on request. There are also two bathrooms with walk-in showers. One has a WC and a shower with grab rails. Outside, you'll enjoy a covered terrace for meals in the shade. You'll also find deckchairs so you can relax while admiring the view over the Bauge countryside. A wi-fi connection is available throughout the accommodation. A cot, high chair, changing table and bathtub are also available. A wooden playpen is available on request. For your convenience, cleaning, heating and electricity are included in the rental rates.
