Danielle and Jean Louis ROBIN-DIOT are delighted to welcome you to their vast, shady, flower-filled property, and offer you the use of their large former winegrower's house (170 m2) in the heart of the Coteaux du Layon vineyards and close to the Loire cycle route. You can be sure of peace and quiet amidst the vines, and a beautiful view of the countryside. In a large, shady garden, you'll find chiliennes and a terrace for outdoor meals. In the shade under the great bicentenary oak, the little ones can happily build castles, tunnels or circuits in the sandpit, while the older ones can play pétanque in the adjoining grove. Ground floor: - separate fitted kitchen (15m2): electric oven, 2 fridges, direct access to terrace - living room, dining room (40m2) with access to the terrace on the same level as the garden (1500m2). - bedroom 1 (20m2): 1 bed 140 with private bathroom, large shower and washbasin - laundry room with washing machine, - separate WC. So that you can enjoy the countryside around you, the owners have prepared a number of discovery tours... all on foot and all departing from the gite. You'll be less than 10 minutes from Chalonnes-sur-Loire and Rocherfort-sur-Loire, as well as the banks of the Loire, ideal for walking. The surrounding villages along the Loire are well worth a visit: Savennières, La Possonnière, Chalonnes-sur-Loire, Bouchemaine and especially the charming island of Béhuard, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A little further afield, why not extend your visit to Angers and Terra Botanica (40 min) or Doué la Fontaine with its troglodyte dwellings, the famous Bioparc or Puy du Fou, 45 min away near Les Herbiers.
