Upstairs: mezzanine play area, second mezzanine overlooking the living room (sofa bed convertible into 2 beds 90x190cm on request), bedroom with 2 beds 90x190cm (or 180x190cm on request) overlooking the kitchen. Troglodytes are unusual dwellings. The walls and ceilings are made of natural rock and lime plaster.... and are by definition irregular! At their lowest, the ceilings of the mezzanines are 1.50m and the height of the upstairs doors is 1.50m. Outside, admire the distinctive tufa slope. The garden, planted with trees and equipped with garden furniture, sun loungers, parasols and a barbecue, offers a soothing setting. A small tuffeau cave is freely accessible for you to admire the rock in its natural state... or to store your bikes! Saumur is 10 minutes away, with its château, Cadre Noir, Musée des Blindés, Loire River and Saumur wine cellars. Doué-La-Fontaine is also 10 min away, with its Bioparc, rose city with many specialties based on this flower, and troglodyte sites: Troglo et Sarcophages, Le Mystère des Faluns, the troglodyte village of Louresse-Rochemenier.
