Le Pontu

Come and stay at "Le Pontu", a group gîte in Maine-et-Loire with 6 rooms for 10 people, in the heart of the Layon vineyards, in a green, wooded and peaceful setting just outside Angers. The 4500m² garden surrounding the house is ideal for relaxing in the fresh air, playing outdoor games or enjoying meals al fresco (garden furniture, shaded area, parasol, barbecue...). The garden is not fully enclosed, however, and requires constant maintenance by a gardener who must visit regularly, sometimes when the gîte is occupied, so that you can enjoy the outdoors to the full. On the first floor there's a small, fully-equipped kitchen, a large living room with a sitting area around the fireplace, a large dining table and an entrance hall with a beautiful staircase leading to the first floor. Also on the first floor are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, a bathroom (large shower, bath and vanity unit) and a toilet. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, each with a 140cm double bed. The last two bedrooms are smaller (7m²), each with a 140cm double bed. The large, bright landing also leads to a bathroom, toilet and closet. This beautiful house retains its character thanks to the tiled floors on both levels, the beams, the architecture and the Virginia creeper covering the facade. The quality wooden furniture, the many small armchairs and the various decorative objects will give you the impression of staying in a château... Just 15 minutes from Angers, this group gîte is ideal for a family holiday with children. You'll have easy access to the Layon vineyards, where you can taste the local wines (Aubance, Layon, Anjou Village...). Take advantage of the proximity of the city of Angers and its Terra Botanica plant park, museums and other places to discover, not forgetting the Loire River, just a 10-minute drive from the gîte. The banks of the river are ideal for walks and discovering the rich flora and fauna. For a stay with babies, equipment can be provided on request: cots, chair, playpen, bottle warmer, changing table.
