Located in Montilliers, this charming, single-story detached bungalow is ideal for a romantic getaway, a family weekend, or a vacation in the countryside with the kids. Nestled within a historic estate, this place, steeped in history, will charm you with its authenticity and unspoiled surroundings. The owners will be delighted to share the history of this estate—a former castle that was converted into a farm—as well as their commitment to the social and solidarity economy. Combining heritage, warmth, and simplicity, this is the perfect place to recharge your batteries far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The holiday cottage features a cozy living room with a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen, including a gas stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and everything you need to cook on your own. You’ll also have access to a bathroom with a shower and toilet, a bedroom with a 140x190 cm double bed, and a living room with a TV and sofa that doubles as a sleeping area thanks to its two 90x190 cm single beds. When the weather is nice, enjoy your private outdoor area with patio furniture to share meals al fresco. Stroll around the property and admire the landscapes of the Lys Valley, with its meadows, horses, sheep, and the remains of the old castle—whose ruins and moat add to the charm of the setting. A hiking trail starting right from the property will let you explore the surrounding countryside at your own pace. The holiday cottage’s location is ideal for exploring the Maine-et-Loire region.
