In a quiet hamlet, in the heart of the Anjou-Saumur Vineyard and 1 kilometer from Puy Notre Dame, come stay in this simple and pleasant holiday cottage, close to the owners, who are winemakers. On the ground floor, you’ll find a large, fully equipped 20 m² kitchen with a dining area. Climb four steps to reach the living room, which features a sofa, an armchair, and a TV. A half-bath and laundry room are also located on the ground floor. From the kitchen, you can step directly onto the terrace, which features patio furniture and a barbecue. The terrace faces northeast. Upstairs, you’ll find the first bedroom with a 160-cm bed and an adjoining storage room. Go down a few steps to find the second bedroom with two 90-cm beds. Also on this floor are a separate toilet and the bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and double-sink vanity. Stepping out from the living area, you’ll find a large terrace equipped with outdoor furniture, a gas grill, two shade sails, and four lounge chairs. The outdoor area is fully enclosed and secured by a gate. There is parking for two vehicles. You can visit the family estate, located 1 kilometer away, to learn about the “traditional method” used to produce sparkling white wine made from Anjou wines (Saumur, Coteau du Layon, etc.). Guided tours and free tastings are available. Easy hiking trails start right here, offering views of the vineyards. Ideally located for sightseeing. You’ll be just 11 minutes from Doué-La-Fontaine, home to the Bioparc, the Mystères des Faluns, and the troglodyte sites; 12 minutes from Montreuil Bellay and its medieval castle; 25 minutes from Saumur and the banks of the Loire; and 45 minutes from Angers.
