Live to the rhythm of the gentle Angevine at the charming Domaine de la Guimonière. This large family gîte is located in Rochefort sur Loire, 30 minutes from Angers and 5km from the Loire. You'll be staying in an outbuilding of the château, a family property dating back to the 15th century, right in the heart of the vineyards. Entirely restored in the local style, this gîte combines comfort and charm with a cosy, refined interior. First floor: 35m² living room with dining area, lounge with fireplace, TV and home cinema, 16m² kitchen, separate toilet with washbasin, and 20m² Orangeraie lounge with large windows overlooking the park. This living room converts into a 2-person bedroom with a 140x190cm sofa-bed when 10 people arrive. There's also a ground-floor bedroom with en-suite shower, toilet and washbasin. Upstairs: a first bedroom with a 180x200cm bed (or 2 x 90cm) and a 120x190cm bed. A second bedroom with 1 bed 160x200cm (or 2x80cm) and an alcove separated by a screen with a bed 140x190cm. The bathroom is located on the landing. Separate toilet. Outside, a pretty terrace with garden furniture and a private garden overlooking the woods are reserved for you. You'll find a lounge, chiliennes, barbecue and swing. You can also enjoy the 3-hectare park with its tercentenary trees, woods, copses, hedges and belvedere overlooking the vineyards. Leisure facilities available: soccer pitch, ping-pong table, slide, swing, badminton net, trampoline. Direct access to marked hiking and mountain bike trails. The Loire à Vélo cycle route is 7 km away. A closed storage area is available for bikes. The Loire Valley is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is rich in history, fauna, flora and gastronomy. Discover the vineyards of the Layon and Chaume hillsides, as well as the magnificent wild landscapes on the banks of the Loire between Saumur and Nantes.
