Charming tufa stone house located in a wine-producing village in the Saumur region and its troglodytes. Ideal for a stay for two, you'll be 5 minutes from the Château de Montreuil Bellay, 10 minutes from Doué-la-Fontaine and 25 minutes from Fontevraud Abbey. Your stay will include visits to wine estates, strolls through villages along the Loire (Montsoreau, Turquant,...) and troglodyte discoveries. The Holiday cottage is on two levels: - Ground floor: living room with sofa bed (160cm extra bed), wood-burning stove (wood supplied) and large TV (many channels, Netflix, ...), fully-equipped kitchen (induction hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven/microwave combo, ...) and dining area. - Upstairs: 23m² mezzanine bedroom with king-size bed (180x200cm) leading to shower room (Italian shower, vanity unit, hairdryer) and separate toilet. Outside: private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue. Access to the Holiday cottage is via a shared entrance. Grocery and bread store 400m walk from Holiday cottage. Shops and supermarket 5km away - Wifi fiber internet connection - Beds made on arrival and bathroom linen provided - End-of-stay cleaning extra (45€) - Parking in front of the gîte - No washing machine in the gîte, launderette 6km away.
