This former stable, dating back to 1800, has been carefully restored in keeping with local heritage. You’ll be charmed by its exposed beams, traditional roof structure, and original cob walls, which give it a warm and authentic atmosphere. Located on our family property, the holiday cottage offers a completely independent and private space, with no neighbors directly across the way, while remaining close to the owners’ home for attentive and discreet hospitality. A Comfortable and Cozy Holiday Cottage With a total area of 72 m², the holiday cottage features a beautiful 50 m² living area on the ground floor, including: a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy dining area, a comfortable living room with a sofa, TV, and wood-burning stove, a small laundry room, a separate restroom with a sink. Upstairs, you’ll find a 15 m² bedroom, partially under the eaves, furnished with a comfortable Bed 160 x 200. The adjoining bathroom, which is partially open to the bedroom, features a large tiled shower and a vanity unit. A private garden where you can unwind, opening onto the vegetable garden, where we’re happy to share our small harvest with you free of charge. From the living room, you have direct access to your enclosed, southwest-facing garden, which is naturally shaded by the surrounding trees. Make the most of the outdoor space with: a relaxation area, outdoor furniture for your meals, a plancha grill for social gatherings, and two lounge chairs for relaxing. The tranquility and lack of neighbors provide the perfect setting for rest and relaxation. Nature, Hiking, and Exploration in Anjou If you love nature, hiking, or biking, you’ll find plenty of activities near the holiday cottage. Hiking trails are accessible directly from the holiday cottage, and a fishing spot is just a few minutes away. Just 4 km away, the towpath along the Mayenne River and the Vélofrancette bike route invite you to enjoy beautiful walks or bike rides. Thanks to its prime location, the holiday cottage also makes it easy to explore the treasures of Anjou and access major highways leading to Rennes, Nantes, or Le Mans.
