Gîte Le Chabeau

The Holiday cottage du Chabeau welcomes you to the Baugeois region: a quiet, authentic setting just outside the cities of Angers and Saumur, 20 km from the La Flèche Zoo, 20 minutes from the banks of the Loire and 45 minutes from Touraine. This former farmhouse, restored to its original splendor (tuffeau, beams, terracotta) and located near the owner's manor house, offers a pleasant country setting: Hiking trails, greenways, forests, equestrian centers, golf courses, fishing and swimming spots, streams... not to mention the Loire!Ideally located between Saumur and Angers, a stay in this Holiday cottage will be an opportunity to enjoy the thousand-year-old city of Baugé: Château du Roi René with its show trail, Hôtel-Dieu and its 17th-century apothecary, theatrical tours of these sites, and the rich architectural heritage of the City center. On the first floor of the Holiday cottage, you'll find: - an old-fashioned living room with a large period fireplace and bread oven, a wood-burning stove (1st flambé free of charge), a sitting area with 3 sofas (one of which converts into a double bed), a dining area and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, - a shower room (accessible by two steps) with shower cubicle and separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find: - a sleeping area comprising a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm x 190 cm) and an alcove with a single bed (90 cm x 190 cm), - a bathroom area (open onto the bedroom) with claw-foot bathtub, vanity unit and toilet, - an attic room with an extra bed. Outside, a private courtyard with garden furniture, parasol, sun loungers and barbecue, a 20m² room with washing machine + clothesline, freezer with drawers, ping-pong table and outdoor equipment. Private parking on site in the courtyard enclosed by an electric gate. The Holiday cottage has DTT TV and WIFI PLC Internet access.
