L'Arcison

Situated in the heart of the Arcison vineyards on a winegrowing estate, halfway between Angers and Saumur, this single-storey vacation rental is an ideal base for hiking, exploring the vineyards and discovering the surrounding troglodyte sites. This fully restored former barn opens onto a large, bright living room featuring a dining area, a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen and a sitting area with TV. There are two bedrooms (one with two 90cm single beds, the other with a 160cm double bed). The bathroom has a walk-in shower and separate WC. A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is also available. On sunny days, you can enjoy a terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, as well as sunbathing in the unoverlooked garden. During a free tour of the surrounding area, in the heart of the Layon and Bonnezeaux hillsides, the owner will be delighted to share his knowledge of the region with you (discover the vineyards and the work of the vines, anecdotes about the history of the region, explanations of the different types of mills in Anjou, etc.) and to introduce you to boule de fort, the traditional sport of the Loire Valley. You'll also have the opportunity to taste the estate's different wines: Rosés de Loire, Cabernet d'Anjou, Bonnezeaux, Coteaux du layon... Twenty km away, you can discover the animals of the Doué-La-Fontaine Biopark and the 'Camifolia' plant garden in Chemillé-en-Anjou, billed as the capital of medicinal plants. For a wine-tourism break with friends, camper vans are also welcome on the estate. A fan is available for your comfort.
