Halfway between Angers and Saumur, come and stay in a former bakery in the heart of a wine-producing village. Ideal for weekends with family or friends up to 15 people (including babies), the house has 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a dining room/kitchen, a living room with table football/TV and a garden with swimming pool. The former bakehouse gives way to the dining room/kitchen with its 5-burner piano, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and utensils... (2 other refrigerators are available in the gîte). The former store now houses the living room, a separate toilet and the 6 bedrooms: - the "Douceurs" bedroom on the first floor, accessible from the garden (1 bed 160x200, shower and WC) - the "Gourmande" room on the 1st floor (1 bed 160x200, shower and WC) - the "Romantique" room on the 1st floor (1 bed 160x200 and 2 single beds 90cm, shower and WC) - le Grenier" room on 1st floor (1 bed 160x200, double shower, optional sauna and whirlpool bath) - the "Family Suite" room on the 1st floor comprises two bedrooms (2 single beds and 1 double bed) and a living room with 1 single bed, sharing a bathroom with bath and WC. You'll enjoy a landscaped garden (table for 15 people, barbecue, chiliennes, darts, badminton, etc.). The above-ground pool is heated and accessible from May to September, 10am to 8pm (3mx3.90mx1.20m - 5 pers max). Made of brick and tuffeau, this brocante-style gîte is 10 min from Doué-la-Fontaine (Bioparc zoo, rose city, troglodytes...), 8 min from Brissac and its highest castle in France, and 20 min from the banks of the Loire, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You can hike through the vineyards of the Coteaux du Layon, right from the gîte on the GR trail. For your vehicles, parking spaces are available in the village next to the house. Shops are within walking distance of the gîte (bakery, mini-market, café-restaurant-pizzeria) or a 5-minute drive away. For your comfort, beds are made up on arrival, bathroom linen is provided and end-of-stay cleaning is included. Baby equipment is available on request (cots, high chairs, etc.). Breakfasts, table d'hôtes, themed stays, sauna and whirlpool bath are available on reservation. The former bakery where you'll be staying is adjacent to the owners' house. To preserve the peace and quiet of the village, parties are not permitted.
