Just 20 minutes from Saumur and the banks of the Loire, this former farmhouse, dug into the rock, has been completely renovated to reveal its unique heritage. Nestled in a green setting, the Holiday cottage offers peace and quiet, privacy and a change of scenery, with no vis-à-vis. Access to the courtyard is via a 15-step staircase lined with vegetation. Completely troglodytic and on one level, this 80 m² Holiday cottage offers a warm atmosphere combining authenticity and modern comfort. The living room features a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto a lounge with television. The first bedroom, accessible from the living room, has a 160x200 cm bed and a 90x200 cm bed. It does not have an opening to the outside, but is equipped with an air renewal system. A corridor, also opening onto the outside, leads to the second bedroom, with two 90x200 cm beds, a washbasin and a walk-in shower. Outside, enjoy a south-facing wooden terrace built into the falun rock, with garden furniture, chiliennes, deckchairs and barbecue. The outdoor area is enclosed, ideal for young Kids or pets. A ping-pong table and darts board are available in a troglodytic cellar, and the Holiday cottage is ideally located for exploring the region. The Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark is just one kilometer away, a 10-minute walk. Heritage lovers can visit the Mystère des Faluns or the troglodytic village of Louresse-Rochemenier. Saumur, with its castle and famous Cadre Noir de Saumur, is 20 minutes away. Located in the heart of the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park and surrounded by the Layon vineyards, the Holiday cottage is the perfect place to enjoy the mildness of Anjou. A shopping mall for everyday essentials is 1.6 km away, and each room has its own ventilation system. Limited network coverage inside the Holiday cottage, but good outside. Wifi available.
