La Touche

Halfway between Terra Botanica and La Mine Bleue, in the heart of the Angevin bocage, you're guaranteed to recharge your batteries at the gîte La Touche. With its peace and quiet and large garden, it's the ideal place to recharge your batteries with family or friends! Nearby attractions include: Terra Botanica 24 minutes away, Mine Bleue 20 minutes away (slate mine 126 m deep, open to visitors), Angers, its historic city center and mild climate 30 minutes away, and Château du Plessis-Macé 18 minutes away. For hiking enthusiasts, the Mayenne towpath is just 8km away. Along the river, discover charming villages, unique flora and fauna, as well as the guinguettes open in season. The Oudon also offers a wide range of walks. Former organic farmers, the owners will be delighted to show you around the property, where plants are given pride of place with its orchards and vegetable garden! On the first floor, the gîte opens onto a pleasant living room with a fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area, with a wood-burning stove (wood supplied) to warm you up on chilly winter evenings. A master suite, with a 140 cm x 190 cm bed and private bathroom (shower and toilet, with grab bar) is also available on the first floor. Separate WCs are also available. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with two 90 cm x 190 cm beds. There's also a bathroom with shower and WC. The large lawned garden with wooden terrace will delight young and old alike! Barbecue, plancha, will punctuate your summer meals. A swing, slide and trampoline will keep the kids entertained. Bicycles can be parked under a shelter. On site, the owners will be delighted to introduce you to the farmyard animals and help you discover the many crops grown in the vegetable garden and the orchard with its delicious fruits and vegetables (advice on permaculture). Ideal for families with children. The gîte is suitable for people with reduced mobility (gentle slope for access, spacious bedroom on the first floor and shower room / WC with grab bar in the master suite).
