Located in the commune of Distré, this restored 18th-century house is set in a quiet, typical hamlet. With a surface area of 120m², the first floor comprises a kitchen/dining room, a living room with fireplace and a first bedroom with 2 single beds, en-suite shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs you'll find a second bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a third with two beds, (one double (140x190) and one single (90x190)). A bathroom with bath and shower, as well as wc, are also located on this floor. The Holiday cottage has an enclosed garden with lawn area and covered shed. A barbecue and Kids' games are available. The Holiday cottage is non-smoking and has Gas heating. Electricity over 8 kwh, Gas heating (100.00€ / week) and tourist tax are extra. The Saumur region, renowned for its Vineyard, is also the capital of horse riding. Come and spend a unique moment with the horses of the Cadre Noir, École Nationale d'Équitation, and attend one of the many performances of the Galas du Cadre Noir, where the elegance, prowess and complicity between rider and horse will give young and old an unforgettable experience. Make a detour to Rou-Marson, 5 minutes from the Holiday cottage, for fouées, also known as fouaces. This little ball of oven-baked bread is served while still warm and filled with rillettes, mushrooms, cheeses, mogettes, jams... whatever you fancy. Visit one of the region's troglodyte restaurants to sample this local specialty and enjoy a convivial meal with family and friends. And don't forget Fontevraud Abbey, 15 minutes from the Holiday cottage.
