Situated just a short distance from Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire and its shops, this typical village on the banks of the Loire is an ideal base for discovering the Loire Valley and its must-see castles, vineyards and Museums, as well as the cities of Angers and Saumur, not forgetting walks, bike rides, canoeing and horse-riding along the river. The Holiday cottage has retained all its soul thanks to exposed beams, a tufa fireplace and some original floor tiles, offering a harmonious balance between ancient character and modern comfort. On the first floor, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with sofas, wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV and DVD player, a bathroom with shower, vanity unit and towel warmer, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, a small landing leads to a master bedroom with a 160 x 200cm double bed and a bedroom with two 90 x 190cm single beds. Each bedroom is equipped with storage space and memory foam mattresses and pillows for a good night's sleep. The Holiday cottage is also ideally suited to Telework, thanks to a high-speed Free Internet connection and an office area equipped with armchair, lamp, extension lead, multiple socket and RJ45 cable, located next to a bright window. Outside, an east-facing wooden terrace lets you enjoy outdoor meals and balmy summer evenings. Deckchairs, barbecue and 800 m² private garden are at your disposal. From the terrace, garden and master bedroom, you'll enjoy unobstructed views over the fields, with the occasional presence of the owners' horses in the surrounding pastures. The Holiday cottage adjoins the Holiday cottage La Borderie reference H49G015894, with no overlooking of the outside spaces, and the two accommodations can be rented together to sleep up to 9 people. Private parking is available in a gated courtyard. The rental price does not include electricity consumption over 8 kWh per day, or wood (70 euros per stere), to be paid extra.
