La Picaudière

The peace and quiet of the Mauges, halfway between Nantes and Angers: the ideal place to stay at La Picaudière! Located in the village of Le Fuilet, in the heart of the Mauges (the historic setting of the Vendée Wars), you can discover the local natural and historical heritage: Le Fuilet potter's house 5 minutes away, the "fil de l'Evre" walk (a 100 km trail along the Evre valley), charming villages (Saint-Florent-le-Vieil 16 minutes away, Champtoceaux 17 minutes away, Montjean-sur-Loire 30 minutes away). The banks of the Loire, with their remarkable natural heritage, can be explored on foot or by bike, thanks to the "Loire à vélo" trail (15 mins from this accommodation). For family outings, there are numerous sites close to the gîte: the L'Autre Usine complex in Cholet, 40 minutes away (go-karting, bowling, karaoke, laser game, billiards, escape game, soccer, volleyball, basketball...). The Glisséo complex, also in Cholet, offers swimming (pools with slides) and skating (ice rink). The city of Nantes, with its famous machines, is 45 minutes from the gîte. Angers, with its historical center and Terra Botanica plant park, is 50 minutes away. On the first floor, the gîte opens onto a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. The living room, with its dining area and sitting area with fireplace (perfect for an evening reading by the fire), is bright and airy thanks to the large bay window. A shower room with walk-in shower and separate WC complete the first floor. Upstairs, an office area with sofa bed and 3 bedrooms are available: 2 bedrooms each with 2 beds 90 cm X 190 cm and 1 bedroom with a bed 140 cm X 190 cm. Outside, the calm of the countryside and the beauty of the scenery will delight young and old alike! A terrace with garden furniture, large grassy areas and a barbecue will set the pace for your summer meals. Included in the rental price: wi-fi internet connection, high chair and cot on request.
