La Métairie

10km from Angers, in the heart of the Angevin low valleys (Natura 2000 site), on the edge of the GR35, you'll have the pleasure of discovering this charming region with your family or friends. The "La Métairie" gîte in Villevêque offers three bedrooms, each with its own private shower room. On the first floor, the gîte has a living room with TV, a separate kitchen (induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc.), a utility room with washing machine, a bedroom with a 160cm double bed, a shower room and separate WC. For winter evenings, you can enjoy the warmth of the wood-burning stove. Upstairs, the two bedrooms each have a 140cm double bed, a 90cm single bed and a shower room. A separate toilet is also located on the landing. With its garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs, swing, slide and ping-pong table, the garden is a great place for family fun. And the pond, with its ducks and moorhens, is sure to delight curious youngsters. Just 5km from the gîte, you can spend a pleasant day on the banks of the Loir with its beach, picnic tables, children's play area, guinguette, ... (supervised swimming in July and August). During your stay at Villevêque, you can easily explore the riches of the Anjou region: Loire castles (Angers, Brissac, etc.), villages on the banks of the Loire, Anjou vineyards, troglodytes and Saumur 45 minutes away. The gîte has a Wifi internet connection, and shops are just 5 minutes away: bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, florist, tabac-presse... For a stay with baby, baby equipment is provided (bed, high chair, bathtub). Wood is provided for the wood-burning stove, but heating (heat pump) is not included in the price (extra charge for more than 8 kWh/day, according to current rates).
