La Mélinière

Ideal for families, friends or business, come and discover the Gîte de la Mélinière! Situated in Saint-Georges-des-Gardes, 3km from the highest point in the département, your stay will be a source of rest and relaxation, in a small village of 15 inhabitants (or 5 "feux" as we say around here): two farms cohabit here, both focused on dairy production. The owners, Stéphane, Valérie and their 3 children, live in the adjoining house. This independent, unoverlooked gîte comprises : - a living room with lounge / dining room / TV / fireplace - A fully-equipped kitchen - 3 bedrooms, each with a double bed (140cm X 190cm) - A bathroom with shower - Separate WC Outside, an enclosed courtyard with terrace, garden furniture, parasol, barbecue and deckchairs to enjoy sunny days! You'll also have the opportunity to try your hand at taming the family's pony Choupette and 3 small "Ouessant" sheep. Included in the rental price: high-speed wi-fi internet connection (teleworkers welcome!), heating and electricity. Additional charges: bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning. You'll be 3 km from the highest point in Maine et Loire (Saint-Georges-des-gardes, with its monastery, orientation table and playground), 20 minutes from the Coteaux du Layon vineyards and the Loire (including the Loire cycle route), 30 minutes from Angers, with its Terra Botanica plant park, castle and historic city center, and 45 minutes from the Puy du fou. The gîte is also 8km from Chemillé-en-Anjou (capital of medicinal plants, with its theater, the beautiful Camifolia botanical garden and its various activities, its municipal swimming pool and cinema) and 17km from Cholet (known as the capital of handkerchiefs, with many activities on offer: water sports center, textile museums, monuments to the Vendée wars, skating rink, swimming pool, bowling, karting, laser game, etc.).

We like to receive company's worker from all Europe (and the whole world of course!).

Since 4 years we receive workers from România, España, Portugal, Polska, Česká republika, Hrvatska, Deutschand....

We speak only English (as french people.....) But each meeting is a pleasure.

Usually people stay for a long perod and it give us time to create friendly relations.

We volontary limit cottage for 3 workers so that they feel good and be confortable for rest in good condition after a work day or week end.

The house is big, in quiet contryside : Come on and : "Bienvenue".
