La Guiltière

Halfway between Nantes and Cholet, La Guiltière is the perfect place to get away from it all! A small village of 150 inhabitants nestled in the middle of the vineyards, it's an ideal base from which to discover the many treasures of our region: Nantes, with its Ducs de Bretagne castle, its famous leaning houses and its many cultural attractions, is 35 minutes away; Clisson, with its Italian inspiration, its castle and the Garenne Lemot estate, is 10 minutes away; the banks of the Sèvre, the Vendée bocage and the Atlantic coast can be reached in 1 hour from the gîte. If you're a wine-lover, you can take advantage of your stay to discover the many wine appellations in the area: Muscadet, Coteaux d'Ancenis, Cabernet and Rosé d'Anjou... In moderation! This small 30m² single-storey house, adjoining the owners' home, opens onto a bright living room with sofa bed and TV, a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, mini-oven, microwave, washing machine) and dining area. The bedroom (7.50m²) has a 140cm x 190cm double bed and storage space. The bathroom includes a walk-in shower and WC. Outside, there's a private enclosed terrace with garden furniture, barbecue, deckchair and parasol. You can also set off on hiking trails through the vineyards directly from the gîte. Former winegrowers, the owners will be delighted to share their knowledge of the vineyards and advise you on wines and cellar visits in the area. Parking available on the street in front of the gîte. The gîte can be reached on foot via a gentle 30m slope, or by climbing a few steps to the terrace. Activities: l'autre Usine in Cholet (sports, karting, bowling, laser-game, escape game...) 30 minutes away, Puy du Fou 40 minutes away, Terra Botanica 1h10 away. Pets welcome! The owners also have two dogs. Included in price: end-of-stay cleaning, sheets and towels, wi-fi internet connection. Baby equipment (high chair, cot) on request. Electricity above 8 kwh (current EDF rate) and heating (electric) are extra.
