La Grange aux Grenouilles

For a peaceful stay in the countryside, come and stay in this gîte in Chemillé en Anjou. This typical 19th-century Mauges barn, completely renovated in 2021 with exposed stonework and beams, is spacious and bright. The large bay windows open onto the unenclosed garden and unoverlooked terrace, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and its cows (the garden and exteriors are currently being landscaped). Its central location in the Anjou region means you'll be within easy reach of many tourist attractions: Europe's largest Japanese garden in Maulévrier (30 min), the Layon valley and its vineyards, the Doué la Fontaine Biopark, the Camifolia gardens in Chemillé en Anjou, etc. This 6-person gîte has two bedrooms (one on the first floor with a double bed and direct access to the terrace, and the other upstairs with two 90cm single beds that can form a large double bed). Accessible from the industrial-style staircase, the mezzanine also has a double bed (the room has no shutters, but blackout curtains). The large 68m² living room features a sitting area with TV and DVD player from which you can enjoy the view over the countryside, a dining table for meals and the fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with fridge-freezer, table-top oven, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, induction hob ... There's a shower room with walk-in shower and separate WC on the first floor. A washing machine is also available in the laundry room. Garden furniture, a swing for the kids, deckchairs and a barbecue are available for you to enjoy your stay in the countryside! Taking your bikes on vacation? An outbuilding is available for easy storage. Wifi internet connection, electricity and geothermal heating included. And if you still have time, why not take advantage of your stay to visit the Puy du Fou or the Italian-style town of Clisson (40 minutes from the gîte)?
