In the courtyard of the old village school, come and stay in a small house completely renovated in 2024. Comfortable, bright and modern, this 2-bedroom gîte near Angers is all on one level. Rochefort is 20 minutes from Angers and 1 hour from Saumur. The castles of Serrant and Brissac are also 20 minutes away. The Loire River is 2km away. You'll be located in the Anjou-Saumur vineyards. Inside, the colors are soft and pleasant. The main room (24m²) features a small, fully-equipped kitchen, a dining area for 4 and a living room with TV. A small 9m² bedroom with 2 90x190cm beds and a 12m² bedroom with a 140x190cm bed. Both rooms have an unobstructed view of the garden. Beds are made up on arrival. Separate shower room and toilet. A courtyard with garden furniture allows you to enjoy your meals outside. Large garden with fruit trees, green spaces in the heart of the village. The garden is shared with the owner and her dog and cat, who also live on site. She will be delighted to advise you on excursions in the area. Don't miss the Loire villages of Savennières, Montjean sur Loire, Chalonnes sur Loire and Ile de Béhuard. Cruises, guinguettes and walks or bike rides in the vineyards or along the Loire... get into the rhythm of Anjou! Shops in the village are within 200m walking distance: pharmacy, bakery, cafés, restaurants, butcher, delicatessen, mini-market, wine cellar. You'll also find many artists selling their work... Cycling holidays: the station is 3.5km away, allowing you to take train/bike tours all along the Loire. Gîte close to the church. Beds made, towels provided. Optional end-of-stay cleaning 50€.
