Gîte La Nouvelle

Come and stay in this little cocoon in the heart of the Anjou Bleu countryside, 30 minutes from Château-Gontier, a town on the banks of the Mayenne, and Le Lion d'Angers, famous for its stud farm. This charming little house with tiled floor and exposed beams has two rooms: - Living room with dining table and chairs and fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, gas hob, Italian-style coffeemaker and kettle, ...) - Spacious bedroom with direct access to the terrace (double bed 160x200cm - television) and en-suite bathroom with shower and washbasin. Additional: small mezzanine with two extra beds (2 beds 100x200cm). Ideal for all seasons, you'll appreciate the peaceful surroundings on the wooden terrace in summer, and the warmth of the wood-burning stove after a winter walk. With a nod to their homeland, the owners welcome you to the "La Nouvelle" gîte, where you can enjoy meals based on traditional Reunionese cuisine. Nearby, you'll find forests, ponds and the greenway between Segré and Châteaubriant, as well as the "Plantagenets Way" hiking trail linking Mont-Saint-Michel to Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle. In summer, the Pouancé leisure center, just a few minutes away, offers supervised swimming, as well as a range of water-based activities: mountain biking, gyropods, aquapark, kayaking, paddle, pedalos... You're also 15 minutes from the Mine Bleue, 35 minutes from the Robert Tatin Museum and 1 hour from Angers and Rennes.
