You'll be 400m from the village center with its pharmacy, bar, restaurant, bakery and supermarket. But also 35 minutes from La Flèche zoo and the Doué La Fontaine Biopark, and less than an hour from Tours and Angers. Take advantage of your stay to discover the vineyards of the Saumur region, the banks of the Loire and the Loire castles of Saumur, Montsoreau, Ussé, the fortress of Chinon or the Abbey of Fontevraud. The old-style interior is suitable for 2 to 4 people in a simple, authentic setting. On the first floor is the kitchen, equipped with 4 gas rings, mini-oven and fridge (no microwave, oven or dishwasher). In the living room, you'll also find a relaxation area with sofa and TV next to the wood-burning stove, and a dining area. The wood-burning stove heats the house efficiently and comfortably in winter, in place of electric heating. Wood is supplied. Also on one level, a bedroom with bamboo canopy bed 140x190cm, private shower room with vanity unit, small shower cubicle and toilet. The bedroom opens onto the courtyard through a French window. Upstairs, a large 24m² bedroom with 140x190cm bed, lounge and TV, also has its own shower room with shower cubicle, vanity unit and toilet. A small half-level room can be used as a games room or extra sleeping space. The exterior is shared with the owners of the property: garden furniture, small play area, swings, henhouse in a park of around 1,000m² with large trees and a gated exterior for security. The owners, Janique and Didier, live close to the gîte, accompanied by their animals. They will be delighted to welcome you and guide you on your outings in the Saumur region.
