There are many places of interest within a 20min radius of the gîte: Saumur, Brissac-Quincé, Doué-la-Fontaine, the banks of the Loire, Montreuil-Bellay... With its tufa walls and tiled roof, you'll be staying in a traditional house typical of the Douessine region. Outside, enjoy the pleasantly landscaped grounds. Pretty shaded terrace in front of the gîte: wooden garden furniture, shade sail and pergola, gas plancha, garland... everything you need for pleasant evenings outdoors. Beautiful view over the fields at the top of the property. A wooden house on stilts will be a haven for little adventurers. An aviary with a few geese at the top of the property is also great fun for children. Inside: - Ground floor: large 21m² fully-equipped kitchen, cathedral-style living room with dining area, sitting room with TV. From the living room, 2 steps lead up to the bedroom with 2 single beds. From the kitchen, go up 2 steps to a corridor leading to the master suite with 1 bed 160x200cm, shower and vanity unit, a 2nd shower room and toilet. Upstairs is the 3rd bedroom of over 15m² with a 160x200cm bed. On the mezzanine, an additional bed can accommodate 2 people on request (140x190cm). The staircase may seem a little steep. Places to visit: Doué-La-Fontaine 10 min away, with Le Mystère des Faluns, Le Bioparc, Troglodyte et Sarcophages, Les Chemins de la Rose, Le village troglodytique de Louresse-Rochemenier. Just 20 minutes away, visit the towns of Saumur on the banks of the Loire, Montreuil-Bellay and its château on the banks of the Thouet, and Château de Brissac. You'll be at the crossroads of the Layon, Aubance and Saumur vineyards for a rich wine tourism experience. Angers is 40 minutes away.
