Romantic getaway in the Countryside - Charm & nature near the chateaux of the Loire Valley Treat yourself to a break for two, in a charming Holiday cottage designed for couples in search of nature, comfort and authenticity. Nestled in the heart of a preserved environment, this warm and welcoming place is ideal for getting together and exploring the wonders of Anjou. A fully renovated former bread oven, the air-conditioned Holiday cottage elegantly blends noble materials (exposed beams and tufa stone) and warm materials, creating a soft, refined atmosphere. The bright 35 m² living room includes a fully-equipped kitchen (combined microwave oven, 6 place dishwasher...), a comfortable dining area and a lounge. A panoramic window opens onto a view of the fields, right in front of the wood-burning stove, ideal for cosy flambées. This room gives direct access to the future south-facing terrace. From April 2026, you'll be able to enjoy a terrace with garden furniture, brazier and sun loungers, as well as a lawn area facing the fields (currently under development). A gate will give access to a beautiful area shared with the guests of the second Holiday cottage: large wooden swimming pool, sunbathing area, children's play area and fruit trees. Upstairs, on the mezzanine: air-conditioned sleeping area with 160 x 200 cm bed, storage space and small lounge with Internet-connected screen (guest Netflix account, DVD player and film collection, no conventional TV channels). Bathroom with spacious shower, washbasin and modern dry toilet (chip-free, with integrated ventilation) on the first floor. Everything has been thought of for a peaceful stay, including bike rides, visits to châteaux, local markets, Vineyard walks... Possibility of renting the neighboring Holiday cottage, l'Eco-gite de la Chapelle, for up to 8 people (see ref H49G026048). All-inclusive service. Parking on property, wifi connection. Baby equipment available on request. Wood provided free of charge. Shared laundry room with 3 washing machines in an outbuilding. 2 low beams upstairs (approx. 150cm). Spiral staircase. In-ground wooden Piscine, dimensions: 15x4m, depth 1.35m, unheated, treated by salt electrolysis.

Committed to ecological renovation (wood wool insulation, heat pump, pedo-purification, re-use of materials, eco-certified paint, dry toilets, ecological choices...) and respect for the environment, the Holiday cottage is located in a natural setting classified as an LPO Refuge.

Laurine and Michael will be delighted to welcome you and introduce you to permaculture, their animals, tourist attractions close to the Holiday cottage, and good places to buy organic, local and cheap food. Pony rides for Kids on request. Countryside and woodland walks around the gîte.
