Located in a former coaching inn in the heart of the village of Beaulieu-sur-Layon, this stone house with its brocanteque atmosphere is the perfect place to stay! In the heart of the Layon region, numerous vineyards open their doors to you for tastings. Marc and June will be delighted to advise you on your visits to the Anjou region, and to share with you their best addresses for wineries and restaurants. The banks of the Loire, their biodiversity and the "Loire à vélo" cycling route are just 10 km away. The Corniche Angevine offers sublime views over the Loire Valley, also 10 km away. Angers, with its Château des Ducs d'Anjou, Musée des Beaux-Arts, Galerie David d'Angers and Terra Botanica plant park, is just 25 minutes away. For a day trip, Puy du Fou is 40 minutes away. June and Marc welcome you to two private rooms on the first floor of their home. Each has comfortable bedding and private bathroom facilities. In the morning, you can enjoy a breakfast of regional products in the kitchen or garden. The "Blairgowrie" suite, named after Mary Stuart, the Scottish queen, consists of a first bedroom with a 150 cm x 190 cm bed, and a second bedroom with an 85 cm x 190 cm bed and a cot. It has a bathroom with a large shower and a private toilet. The "Alyth" room has a 140 cm x 190 cm bed and a modern, spacious bathroom with private shower and toilet. A billiards room is available in summer only. A parking space is available in the owners' courtyard to park your vehicle safely. Free wifi connection.

    Découverte d'un petit bout d'Anjou

    L'accueil et la confiance que nous accorde June et sa famille en nous laissant vivre dans leur univers sont des qualités rares et au combien appréciable.

    Par delà la découverte de cette partie de la région, j'ai tout particulièrement apprécié la richesse et la profondeur des échanges que j'ai eu avec mon hôte.

    Comme à la maison

    Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec toujours une attention, un mot gentil, une disponibilité pour échanger, dans une maison qui a à la fois de la personnalité et de la chaleur. Un signe qui ne trompe pas : notre fils s'installant comme un "petit fils" de la maison sur le canapé pour regarder les jeux olympiques avec nos hôtes, preuve si besoin est de la connexion établie :)

    Warm welcome

    We were so happy we found this place, the hosts are so nice and welcoming and helped us plan our stay there with recommendations to restaurants, chateaux and wineries. We loved it so much it was hard to leave.
