Chez Annie

Fancy a stay with a breathtaking view of Europe's longest wild river? Chez Annie is just the place! A completely renovated 19th-century Angevin house with exposed beams, independent and not overlooked, this gîte is ideally located along the Loire! With its south-facing terrace, it's an ideal starting point for discovering many of the region's tourist attractions: Nantes, with its famous machines and city center, is 50 minutes away by car (30 minutes by train), and Angers, with its castle and Terra Botanica plant park, is 30 minutes away. You can also walk or cycle along the Loire à Vélo circuit and discover the surrounding villages (Saint Florent le Vieil and its abbey church, Chalonnes sur Loire and its market, Ile Béhuard... ). Other nearby activities: wine tasting at local winegrowers, the Château de Serrant in St Georges sur Loire, water sports. On the first floor, the gîte comprises a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen, a living room with TV and tufa fireplace (not functional), a dining area, a bathroom with shower and separate WC. Upstairs, you'll find two spacious bedrooms: one with a 140cm X 190cm bed, the other with two 90cm X 190cm beds. Both rooms overlook the Loire. Crossing the street, you'll come to a pretty, flower-filled garden (not adjoining) with a terrace and a breathtaking view of the Loire! Garden furniture with parasol, plancha and chiliennes let you enjoy the panorama. The garden has a lockable shed where 4 bicycles can be stored. For fishing enthusiasts, you can fish at the foot of the garden. A 500-meter walk from the gîte takes you to a beach on the banks of the Loire. The SNCF train station is 500 m away (Paris-Nantes line) and freeway access 8 km. As the gîte is located in Ingrandes-Le-Fresne-sur-Loire, you'll find plenty of shops and services.
