Set in the wing of an elegant manor house, it offers an authentic and refined setting, ideal for recharging your batteries in the midst of nature. From the private garden, shaded by a hundred-year-old sequoia, enjoy a breathtaking view over the hillsides and savor the tranquility of the Countryside. Your hosts, passionate winegrowers, will offer you a tour of the estate to discover the secrets of the Vineyard and taste the emblematic Layon wines. The Holiday cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Loire Valley and its treasures: hillside walks and bike rides, cellar tours, majestic châteaux, troglodyte villages, herbal gardens and the famous Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark, around 25 minutes away. Less than half an hour away is the remarkable Château de Brézé, renowned for its impressive troglodytic underground network, perfect for an original visit. For heritage enthusiasts, the region abounds with Loire châteaux and historic cellars to discover by car or bike, as do the mansions and troglodytes of the Saumur-Layon area, just around the corner. Spacious and comfortable, the house can accommodate families and friends in a warm atmosphere. It features a fully-equipped kitchen (hob, traditional oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, filter and Senseo coffee makers, toaster, kettle), a convivial living room with fireplace and TV. On the first floor, the "Cave" room features a double bed, bathroom with bath, WC and private sauna. Upstairs, the "Barriques" room features a 140x190cm double bed and a single bed that can be used as an extra bed, with en-suite shower room, while the "Hangar" room can accommodate up to four people (one 140x190cm bed and two 90x190cm beds), with its own shower room and en-suite bathroom. The living room opens onto a terrace shaded by a magnolia tree and an enclosed garden, perfect for al fresco dining or relaxing in the fresh air.
