Just 30 min from Angers and Saumur, this gîte is ideally located for exploring the Anjou region. Just 10 min from the Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark, between vineyards, troglodyte caves and the banks of the Loire, this warm, comfortable gîte is the perfect place to discover the region. The 35m² gîte has a "cocoon" atmosphere, and has been renovated with beautiful colors and warm materials (wood and stone). A blend of charm and modernity. Located on the first floor of an outbuilding, it is accessed by a staircase. Inside you'll find: a small entrance hall leading to the toilet, a bright living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge with corner sofa and coffee table, TV. Access to the balcony terrace is via a large glass door overlooking the courtyard. The bedroom with a 140 x 190cm bed has its own open-plan shower room with attractive wooden vanity unit and large shower. Possibility of using the lawn in front of the gîte (not private). A public pond is 200m from the gîte for fishing (with fishing licence) or just relaxing. [Outing ideas: Terra Botanica plant park in Angers, Louresse Rochemenier troglodyte village. In summer, take advantage of the Etang de Grézillé and its beach just 5 minutes from the gîte (supervised swimming in summer, play areas and picnic tables). Cycle route from the hamlet. 10km from the Loire. Numerous activities along the Loire: river cruises, walking or cycling on the La Loire à Vélo cycle route. Visit typical Loire villages: Le Thoureil, Chenehuttes-Trèves-Cunault, Les Rosiers sur Loire, Saint Mathurin sur Loire... Between Angers and Saumur, visits to tourist sites and heritage sites: Angers castle, Saumur, Brissac, Cadre Noir, discovering the wines of the Saumur vineyards.
