Located on the riverbank overlooking the Loire, this Bed and breakfast welcomes you to the heart of local life, just steps away from shops and services, in the owner’s own home. You enter through an inner courtyard with a staircase leading to a small terrace offering a beautiful view of the Loire and the bridge. You enter through the living room, where Isabelle and her partner will give you a warm welcome. From there, you’ll head up to your entirely private 35 m² suite on the second floor. The sleeping area includes an 11.5 m² bedroom furnished with a bed 140 x 190 cm, a small table with two chairs, storage space, and a hospitality tray with a kettle. A hallway with a bookshelf, a landing with an air-conditioned office, and a large bathroom with a bathtub, double-sink vanity, and toilet complete this comfortable and bright space. Breakfast is served in the owners’ living room and features products carefully selected at the Market and from local producers: dairy products, cheese, organic fruit, sourdough bread, homemade brioche or pastries, and orange juice freshly squeezed to order—a true delight for the taste buds. Isabelle, who is passionate about history and heritage, will be happy to recommend the many points of interest in her native region. In Chalonnes itself: visit the Grande Île for a stroll, picnic, and nature observation; go hiking or biking along the Loire à Vélo trail; take a cruise on the Loire; or ride the little train through the Layon vineyards… And a little further afield, the Château de Serrant is 10 minutes away, and Angers is 25 minutes away, featuring Terra Botanica Park, the Château d’Angers, and the Jean Lurçat Museum… Isabelle offers, subject to availability, energy-recentering and rebalancing sessions, as well as massages, for a stay focused on Wellbeing.
