Hélène and Jean-Marc welcome you to La Houache, their large, beautiful 19th-century family home, quietly situated opposite the Loire ferry and halfway between Nantes and the beaches of Pornic. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Public parking right in front of the house (possibility of parking on the property for motorbikes/cycles).
The garden surrounding the house will delight flower lovers, as will the terrace overlooking the Loire, where you can watch the ferry and its regular crossings.
The 5 bedrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the house, each with en suite facilities: 3 double rooms on the 1st floor, one triple and one quadruple room on the 2nd floor.
Breakfast served on the veranda overlooking the Loire. Adjoining lounge for relaxing, and kitchenette available (fridge, hob, dishwasher...).
Additional amenities: wifi, hairdryer, chair/baby bed. Pets allowed (2 max - €10/pet/night). Maison d'hôtes with Accueil Vélo label (premises available).

Your hosts Hélène and Jean-Marc welcome you to their family home. Situated halfway between the beaches of Pornic and the town of Nantes, facing the Loire, La Houache is a beautiful, spacious 19th-century house. The 5 comfortable bedrooms provide a peaceful atmosphere, while the lounge and veranda offer moments of relaxation during the day or evening. You can enjoy breakfast on the veranda while watching the ferry make its regular crossings from Le Pellerin to Le Paradis. Finally, without even leaving the house, you can visit a traditional bookbinding workshop! Jean-Marc is a skilled bookbinder and restorer.

Nicolas Agréable séjour en bord de Loire dans un endroit paisible
Accueil familial dans une belle maison de maître face à la Loire avec un petit jardin à l'arrière. Chambres calmes. Excellent petit déjeuner avec les crêpes à la crème de citron faite maison ainsi que les confitures. Parking aisé sur la place devant la maison. Possibilité de prendre le bac de Loire (gratuit) juste en face et d'aller facilement à Nantes ou au Nord Loire. Restaurants et boulangerie à proximité immédiate. Visite très intéressante de l'atelier de reliure. Merci à Hélène et Jean-Marc ainsi que Maïa pour leur gentillesse et leur bienveillance.

PhCh Et vous ... ?
Un séjour dans une grande maison de bourg où on ne sait si l'atmosphère apaisante y tient plus à la décoration intérieure avec le poème sur la porte, à la qualité de la literie avec ses draps Lin-Vosges, à l'amabilité de la propriétaire avec son artiste relieur de mari ou encore, à la Loire avec la puissance de son débit. Personnellement, nous n'avons pu trancher.

Belle chambre avec lit confortable. Environnement paisible et situé a 30 minutes de Nantes. Cuisine disponible et buffet avec une belle variété de produits et confitures maison, dont des crêpes (recette secrète!) Accueil chaleureux de Maya et Hélène, Échanges sympathiques et conseil de voyage sur Nantes nous permettant de maximiser notre temps dans cette ville charmante.
