Val d'Assou, Lou Granié

The Monts d'Alban are all curves. Between Albigeois and Monts de Lacaune, on the Albi-Millau axis, a Holiday cottage for 2 people, a former granary in the heart of the hamlet of "La Barraque", at 600m altitude (source of Assou).

Garden in front of the Holiday cottage, open spaces around the hamlet (agricultural and pastoral estate of 50 hectares of land, meadows and woods. Possibility of visiting the cows with the owners).

Swimming in the owners' Lake (unsupervised), and pedal boat available. The lake is a 500-meter walk from the Holiday cottage. Picnic table on the dyke, for lunch by the water. Private 4km Hiking trail on the property.

Ground floor: living room with open-plan kitchen and sitting area (sofa bed), bedroom with 140x190cm double bed, shower room (Italian shower), separate WC.
Carport, ping-pong table, table soccer and French billiards room to be shared with the second on-site Holiday cottage (for 6/8 people, Lou Paousadou, reference G263).

The village of Alban, 3 kilometers from the Holiday cottage, has all the shops and services you need for your stay.


Discover the 4 "Grands Sites" of OCCITANIE: the UNESCO World Heritage City of Albi and its cathedral, the medieval city of Cordes and its surrounding towns, the Gorges du Tarn, Millau and its famous viaduct, and the secret cellars of Roquefort.

Overlooking the Tarn Valley, you can easily reach the village of Trébas, with its "Pavillon Bleu"-rated beach, allowing you to swim in white water, directly in the river. You can also visit the picturesque village of Ambialet, classified as a "Petite Cité de Caractère", with its peninsula and priory perched on a hill, both of which can be reached directly by canoe on the river Tarn.

The Monts on either side of the valley offer 15 signposted Hiking trails for those who enjoy walking, exploring the countryside and discovering the local flora and fauna.
